Our Services
Kidney and Ureteral Stones
Kidney stones are small, hard mineral deposits that form in the kidneys and can cause significant pain and discomfort when they move through the urinary tract. Treatment options for kidney stones depend on the size and location of the stone, as well as the severity of the symptoms.
In many cases, small kidney stones can pass naturally with the help of pain medication and increased fluid intake. However, larger stones may require more aggressive treatment, such as surgery.
In addition to treatment, lifestyle changes such as increasing fluid intake and reducing salt and animal protein consumption can help prevent the formation of kidney stones.

Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men and can often be detected early through routine screening tests. Symptoms of prostate cancer may include difficulty urinating, blood in the urine or semen, and pain or discomfort in the pelvic area.
Risk factors for prostate cancer include age, family history, and certain genetic mutations. Treatment options for prostate cancer depend on the stage and location of the cancer, as well as the patient’s overall health. Treatment may include active surveillance, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, or surgery to remove the prostate gland.
With early detection and appropriate treatment, many patients with prostate cancer are able to achieve favorable outcomes and maintain a good quality of life.
Kidney Cancer
Kidney cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the kidneys – the organs responsible for filtering waste products from the blood and producing urine. The most common type of kidney cancer is renal cell carcinoma, which accounts for approximately 90% of all kidney cancer cases.
Symptoms of kidney cancer may include blood in the urine, abdominal pain or swelling, fatigue, and unexplained weight loss. Risk factors for kidney cancer include smoking, obesity, high blood pressure, and a family history of the disease. Treatment options for kidney cancer depend on the stage and location of the cancer, as well as the patient’s overall health. Treatment may include surgery to remove the affected kidney or a portion of it, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy.
With early detection and appropriate treatment, many patients with kidney cancer are able to achieve favorable outcomes and maintain their quality of life.
Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common condition that affects men of all ages but is more common in older men. It is characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse.
ED can be caused by a variety of factors, including physical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, as well as psychological factors such as stress, anxiety, and depression. Lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and lack of exercise can also contribute to ED.
Treatment options for ED depend on the underlying cause of the condition but may include medication, lifestyle changes, or therapy. Lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking, reducing alcohol consumption, and increasing physical activity can also improve erectile function.
In some cases, therapy may be recommended to address underlying psychological factors contributing to ED.

Infections of the Urinary & Genital Systems
Infections of the urinary and genital systems are common conditions that can affect both men and women. These infections are typically caused by bacteria or viruses and can occur anywhere in the urinary or genital tract, including the bladder, urethra, kidneys, prostate gland, and testicles or ovaries.
Symptoms of urinary and genital infections may include pain or discomfort during urination, frequent urination, blood in the urine, vaginal discharge, and pain or swelling in the genital area.
Risk factors for these infections include a weakened immune system, sexual activity, and certain medical conditions, such as diabetes or kidney stones. Treatment options for urinary and genital infections depend on the underlying cause and may include antibiotics, antiviral medications, or antifungal medications.
In some cases, lifestyle changes such as increased fluid intake or improved hygiene practices may also be recommended. Untreated infections can lead to more serious complications, including kidney damage and infertility.

Risk factors for bladder cancer include smoking, exposure to certain chemicals, chronic bladder inflammation, and a family history of the disease. Treatment options for bladder cancer depend on the stage and location of the cancer, as well as the patient’s overall health. Treatment may include surgery to remove the affected portion of the bladder, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy.
Early detection is imperative to developing a treatment plan and improving your quality of life. If you’re experiencing symptoms of bladder cancer or have risk factors for the disease, contact our office.
Testicular Cancer
Early detection is crucial for effective treatment and a high survival rate. Regular self-examinations and routine check-ups are important to identify any lumps, changes in size, or other abnormalities.
Treatment options for testicular cancer depend on the size and location of the cancer, as well as the severity of symptoms. If detected early, testicular cancer is highly treatable, often with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.

Enlarged Prostate
Enlarged prostate, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is a common condition that affects men as they age. It is characterized by the enlargement of the prostate gland. As the prostate gland grows, it can put pressure on the urethra.
This can cause a variety of symptoms, including difficulty urinating, weak urine flow, frequent urination (especially at night), and a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying.
Risk factors for an enlarged prostate include age, family history, and certain medical conditions such as obesity and diabetes. Treatment options for enlarged prostate depend on the severity of symptoms and may include medication, minimally invasive procedures, or surgery.
